Corrie Thompson

She/Her/Hers

Corrie Thompson (b. Los Angeles) grew up between the United States, Solomon Islands, and Papua New Guinea and currently lives in Fort Worth, Texas. She is an MFA candidate in Painting at Texas Christian University, where she is a drawing instructor and the recipient of a graduate fellowship. Corrie’s work and writing have been featured in two recent publications, Mother’s Days, by Lenka Clayton, and Shelter in Place: Artist Mothers Work, compiled by Tulika Ladsariya and Angela Lopez. Her drawings, books, and collections explore tensions between identity, loss, and place, centering vulnerability between herself and her audience.
