Nicholas Zepeda

He/Him/His

Nicholas Zepeda is an artist from Chicago’s southwest neighborhoods who works with drawings and paintings. He uses this biographical practice to discuss the way personal work is consumed, and searches for expression in presentation.

These works are from a project titled “Neighbors”, which involved a show that was modified during its third week. These changes celebrated mistakes that happened throughout the show’s installation, in parallel with the works theme of self-discovery. The original installation included red-painted walls, misplaced-laminate flooring, and a couch.
